Volume 1 of Aro-healing Touching Lives was my first and foremost published production with reference to the three part MASSAGE AND HEALTH THERAPY SERIES of Aro-healing therapy, Aro-healing Revised Complimentary Therapy (ARC) and Arochology.
The research stage has been concluded; therefore I am able to remove a selection of reference material so as not to give the impression of being a library.
I keep in mind my daughter on one occasion giving me an opinion that every unwarranted item to be in the way and to remove it out of sight hence my patients inquire if I lived at the present address. Immediately after I enthusiastically did that, the first person made enquiries.
‘Do you stay here?’
Therefore I arrogantly asked ‘Why, does it look like it?’
He responded ‘Sorry, it doesn’t look like it at all’.
He knew all there was to know. Situation solved!
Well, the same applies here!
Therapies are capable of doing no more than so much. Philosophies know how to do a portion beyond. On the contrary Sciences can distribute absolute contents—powerful robust energy forces that need to be mulled over.
The Science of Health versus the Millennium Age Therapy—The therapy of Aro-healing Complimentary Therapy and Aro-Technique Product Ranges and Aro-Technique Products.
The Massage Therapy of Aro-healing developed into a Health Therapy in its own right, including the outstanding effect of the unparalleled Aro-Technique Products that are present as components of Aro-healing.
I am the Founder of Aro-healing Revised Complimentary Therapy (ARC)
The Aro-healing Revised Complimentary Therapy was elected for the reason that if I wanted Aro-healing to be an all-and-all division, I would consider it necessary to materialize further natural Therapies and what they have to offer. To truly be the Millennium Age Therapy, I had to weigh Aro-healing against each and every alternative or natural therapy that I could lay my hands on.
It is not my intention to outsmart another home remedy, natural therapy, alternative therapy, modern therapy, para-medical therapy or the medical profession. I am merely stating what Aro-healing, ARC and Arochology can do and what it can’t do, what it is and what it is not and whether it adopted some ideas from other therapies or religions or not.
ARC became the transformation stage of Aro-healing to Arocology; Aro-healing being more of a physical therapy; a Massage Therapy, combined with the use of the Aro-Technique Products.
During the experimental years of Aro-healing, it came to my knowledge that there were remedial results from the use of the Aro-Technique Products; people also reacted to physical touch.
This was another aspect which I ignored until now. The more I worked with people and had to physically touch them, the more I asked myself:
“Why do they keep on coming back for massages? Why are they prepared to pay all that money when they know they don’t have the money to spend on such a luxury in today’s struggling economic times? When they get up in the morning and decide today is the day that I am going for a massage session, what makes them decide so’?
In Aro-healing they were patients, whether they liked it or not. I collected statistical data from each and every patient and came up with a single conclusion.
It was the physical touch that brought them back! The moment they felt deprived of physical touch they decided it was time for a massage session.
And when someone asks me ‘Does massage help for cravings,’ what am I to answer?
“Well, lymphatic drainage massage helps to detoxify you’, ‘is that what you want to know”.
Obviously not. For if she tells you that ‘a physical therapist in town does massages for ‘cravings’ you feel somewhat deflated. Is it your ego? Or is it your therapy which falls short of the well-known para-medical Physical Therapy profession? I was faced with a challenge.
Here was something I had previously overlooked. Not intently, but I was too busy concentrating on the technique of Aro-healing to be bothered with their need of physical touch. No, I put this wrong. Here was a vacuum which stared me right in the face. What was I to do about it? I came to the conclusion that the therapy of Aro-healing alone (and its physical nature) did not approach this need. I had to tap into my knowledge of Psychology.
“Send him to me. I will charge you half my normal fee with the first visit free of charge, and anytime you feel it is not helping, you tell me and I will not feel offended.’
She paid the money in advance—something that never happened before—ten sessions. ‘Here is someone with faith in my therapy’. I had to deliver. Did she put her faith in me or in my therapy? If it is the latter, I will be able to help her if I put every science and every technique together that I can possibly think of.
You know what comes to mind now? I remember how his Psychiatrist was furious with me for leaving his patient on his own for three days when what he considered was a time that he was ‘dangerous to himself’.
And what immediately sprouts to mind when I recall this is what Macrobiotics proclaim—if Psyciatry ever exists at all—it is the first to fold of the six major modern medicine specialties. Scientology hasn’t answered my question about Psychiatry. I wonder if they will put it as explicit as Macrobiotics. What do these three have in common? Scientology, Psychiatry and Macrobiotics? Or are they totally diverse in their beliefs? Where does Arochology fit in?
It was so easy—he was as soft as a lamb. (You see, never criticize a person! Show him you are willing to walk the extra mile.) I let him sit with his feet in the foot spa (just to be able to do something while I ask him questions. He had big feet and I remember the look in his eyes as if asking me ‘do you think sitting with my feet in water is going to take my cravings away?’
So I answered ‘I am only doing this while I am collecting information. Meanwhile it was to hide my own insecury at how to go about it. In my mind I gathered all the knowledge that would help me—obviously this was not a pure massage session. I had to apply the Science of Psychology and whatever I could mingle it with.
‘I am going to ask you two questions.’ He nodded.
‘Do you really want to be helped?’
‘Yes, I don’t know what to do any more. I will try whatever it takes’
“Do you believe that whatever I do will help you?’
Then I knew that he had faith in my Therapy.
We both believed in the Therapy and the Products and guess what? It wasn’t even necessary for his last free session. He reported a decrease in the cravings by the 3rd session and never went back to using drugs. I will explain what method of combined treatment I used in this scenario. I must remember to tell you what happened that I had to phone his psychiatrist. When I told his doctor that I have been treating him for a few weeks, the psychiatrist was furious.
‘And you call yourself a Therapist’.
He can say what he wants to—sour grapes—I cured him in 9 weeks!
And his Psychiatrist lost a great deal of money through that—sour grapes indeed.
Aromatherapy needs no introduction, but “Aromachology” does. There is a specific reason why I have chosen to discuss Aromatherapy and Aromachology together. It is because of these two therapies that Aro-healing and Arochology have their names today.
Before the founding days of Aro-healing I was involved in Aromatherapy, and while studying the human senses, I had to do research on Aromachology—the study of perfume—an intense study of the sense of smell
I can write a book about the five human senses. And some people believe we have six. The sixth sense being the sense of extra sensory perception or ESP. I posed a question on my website’s forum about ESP some time ago and did I receive reaction! It was all good reaction though . . . . people are attracted by these kind of open questions. They hunger for information. We all have our free will and freedom to choose what to believe and what to reject.
The Aro-healing Revised Complimentary Therapy came about because if I wanted Aro-healing to be an all-and-all parcel, I needed to look at other natural Therapies and what they had to offer. To truly be the Millennium Age Therapy, I had to weigh Aro-healing against each and every alternative or natural therapy that I could lay my hands on, even the ones claiming to be a religion or outsmarting themselves against other respected therapies and sciences, claiming themselves to be better than the former respected ones.
It is not my intention to outsmart any other home remedy, natural therapy, alternative therapy, modern therapy, para-medical science or the medical profession. I am merely stating what Aro-healing, ARC and Arochology can do and what it can’t do, what it is and what it is not, whether it is a religion or whether it is not a religion, whether it adopted some ideas from other therapies or not.
Aro-healing was a pure physical therapy, namely the Massage Therapy combined with the use of the Aro-Technique Products. Aro-healing Revised Complimentary Therapy (ARC) was the transformation stage of Aro-healing to Arochology.
My patients stand queue to massage my shoulders when I’m busy with my writing—nose to the grinding stone. I set myself a target date to hand in the manuscripts, paining shoulder muscles or not.
I am busy with two laptops simultaneously. I have my website open on the one, check the hit count every day, look at the search terms, look at which countries visited the website during the past month, which countries visited it the most, make alterations every day, change prices on the online shop, correct mistakes, check the e-mails, answer important ones and do research. On the other laptop I try to form the book. If an idea nestles my brain, I interrupt my work on the first laptop, move over to the Acer, open a word document and type that idea into the document before it leaves my brain for all eternity.
People ask me how do they go about writing a book. This is where you start. Have a pen and paper and jot down ideas as they enter your brain. Type them into a laptop or computer as soon as you have the opportunity. I said a piece of paper, sorry, I mean a diary. A piece of paper will get lost before you get to a laptop or computer.
Can you remember the subject choices for an essay in your last examination at school? Mine was always something like this:
Write a short essay about one of the following three topics:
1) A piece of blue.
2) Research on animals. Discuss.
3) The year 2020.
I sat there for about an hour before I wrote one paragraph and hurriedly wrote one or two more before the end of the session. I had no imagination! One of my classmates wrote about a piece of blue. A story about a prisoner that was confined to an isolation cell and how it was all he saw—a piece of blue sky . . . . and the story continued. To her it was so easy!
Now, let’s see if you have artistic abilities. If you were to visualize Aro-healing and had the task of drawing a picture in your mind of a Therapy that included Relaxation, Healing and Treatment as main areas of activity, what would you draw?
I would draw a body with cells, two feet to anchor the Therapy, three definite organs within this body, representing the three areas of interest. Some empty spaces within this body—for improvement of the Therapy. An almost round body—made whole by the Aro-Technique Products.
This is how I would draw Aro-healing. And how would you draw Arochology? And what would you draw if you put the two facing each other?
I would draw Arochology as an uneven entity with cells, networks, divisions and parts . . . . slurping up Aro-healing, trying to absorb it completely. I would draw Arochology as if it looks like it is pulling the three areas of specialty (relaxation, healing and treatment) out of Aro-healing.
I would draw Arochology as an ‘extraction machine’ with no definite shape, a ‘mind full of networks’, philosophies, sciences and therapies in an ‘undefined shape’. This ‘shape’ I would anchor on four legs for strength and stamina. Furthermore, you must be able to distinguish a definite ‘face-like character’.
This ‘face-like character’ to me would be a ‘Foreword’. What Volume 1 really needed was a Foreword by a Medical Doctor in Marketing Medicine. My doctor-friend uses DHEA. He also developed a product called ‘Pregnenolone’ which helps with Anorgasmia amongst women. I’ll try my best to get hold of him.
Aro-Healing as Technique, Therapy and Way of Life
I am the Founder of the following Sciences, Philosophies and Therapies (Techniques, Products and Product Ranges):
Aro-Healing as a Massage Health Therapy, the Aro Technique, the Aro Touch Technique and the Aro—Reflex Stimulation Technique.
The Aro-Technique Product Ranges and Aro-Technique Products.
The Aro-Pet Massage for animals and pets, the Aro-Baby Massage for babies and children.
The ARC-breathing and posture technique.
The Aro-healing Health Care Council and the Arochology Research Foundation.
The Massage Therapy of Aro-healing later became a Health Therapy in its own right with the combined results of the Unique Products that were part and parcel of Aro-healing.
Due to the fact that Modern Medicine is somewhat considered a ‘religion’ in South Africa (according to Macrobiotics), I kept the secrects of Aro-healing, its Aro Technique and the Aro-Technique Products to myself until now.
I am the Founder of Aro-healing Revised Complimentary Therapy (ARC) along with the ARC—Breathing and Posture Technique.
I am the Founder of the Arochology Health Science. With this came the founding of the Arochology Placebo Therapy and the Arochology Pressure Point Therapy.
Come with me on a journey; I want to introduce you to a Therapy that has taken my life by storm—allow it to happen to you too.
Have you come to a place of stagnancy, nothing interesting happening any more. My friend, you need to make life interesting again. Have you been in a situation where your emotions start dying off? This is the light in your life fading away. What can I do to rekindle it? How can I change your grey sky into blue again?
I have seen people with no enthusiasm in life. They have no drive. They have nothing to keep them busy—nothing that interests them. Sad!
Are you with me on this? No? Then put down the book. Come on. Put it down. Yes? Will you allow me to touch you through the book? Okey? Shall we start? Now, keep your mind at it.
I bet you have read enough books that preach at you. I’m not going to do that. This is a book of health and by far a book of touch. I want to touch you physically. Can I do that? I am touching you softly. Do you feel that?
When last did someone touch you? Will you touch them? Why not? Do you think you can’t change your situation? Of course you can. It’s all in your mind. Let me change that for you.
You are reading non-fiction. No stories. This is a book of facts—believe it or not. Stop me if I am going too fast. Here we go!
