The introduction of Aro-Technique Products in this Volume will be an undersized presentation (no detailed discussion offered).

Senses and Hierarchy of needs

· In Book 1 discussion of the amount of senses will be to 5 senses, and in Volume 3 discussion in relation to the amount of senses will additionally include a consideration of ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) and Mental Telepathy.

Sciences and Philosophies

· When I introduce the Therapies, referring to Reflexology, it will instinctively mean Aro—Reflex Stimulation. Aromatherapy and Aro-healing, one way or another, walk off in more ways than one, seeing that Aro-healing stemmed from Aromatherapy to structure an all-in-all Complimentary Therapy.

Acupuncture, Reflexology and Aromatherapy

· These Therapies are not practiced by Aro-healing. They have their own overriding bodies.

· Acupuncture has been substituted by Acupressure,

· Reflexology by Aro—Reflex Stimulation,

· Aromatherapy by the Relaxation sessions of Aro-healing,

Aro-healing speaks through its website ‘aro-healing dot com’ and salutes its foremost visitors from the United States, United Kingdom, China, Canada, Russian Federation, Germany, France, South Africa and countless other countries.  Arochology is soundly rising into an authoritative Science, and affecting the lives of people as it does.

I carefully selected Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) or Mental Telepathy. A number of people identify ESP with a perception or an instinct; a sixth sense; identify it as you wish. It moves into the book with the discussion of the senses.

I exchanged views with a friend of mine when I  realized that I was crushing thin ice writing about Arochology—seizing familiar sciences, treasured philosophies, contemporary medicine, para-medical therapies, Psychiatry, natural remedies, Eastern therapies, Freudian Analysis, Neuro-psychoanalysis, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Aromachology and everything reminiscent of them.

Arochology is not a religious conviction. This is where I wish to complement it without delay if you, my reader,  is judging along these lines. I am not attaching Arochology to any other additional therapy or belief. Do you have faith in Psychology? Yes?

I’m merely asking that you provide Arochology an open-minded opportunity alongside Psychology. All I am trying to carry across to you in this book is that Psychology is not capable of doing what

Arochology can, and Arochology cannot do what Psychology can. Are you able to substitute potatoes with onions in a pot roast; or are you capable of replacing flour with maize meal in a cottage pie? If the recipe expressly calls for a specific ingredient you cannot make use of the other.

Consequently, I will not put any supplementary belief, science, philosophy, therapy, remedy or product down to rank my own particular philosophy, therapy or  product higher, but I will simply convey the particulars about each and every therapy that has had an effect on the philosophy of Arochology.

There is a reason why I have chosen to discuss Aromatherapy and Aromachology—it is because of the partiality of these two therapies that Aro-healing and Arochology have their given names. Before the founding years of Aro-healing, I practiced Aromatherapy, and during the period that I revised the human senses, I included research on Aromachology—the analysis of perfume—a passionate examining of the sense of smell.

Somatology is the study of essential oils and what control they have over the body and mind. If you are acquainted with what each essential oil can accomplish—when to use which oil, in what concentration, in combination with which added essential oils, which base oil to use for which essential oil—you have advanced in your Somatological ability.

You gain knowledge of combinations, acquire new fragrances; it’s like cultivating wine—you nurture an anti-wrinkle cream with an extra-ordinary smell that you, in no way will perfect again, no matter how intense you try.

I have lost abundant “flavors”, not writing down the “recipe”. I quickly became skilled at being aware of “cultivation” time, to have a pen and paper nearby, to put in writing how many drops of which essential oils to which base oils, and which additional ingredients to an anti-wrinkle cream, or to a sensual oil, a facial treatment cream, a barrier cream, a dog shampoo, a baby’s bath oil, a massage oil or a perfume.

Give the “recipe” a name like “Emotions for Women” or “Jasmine for Men” and Trademark it. This is how the Aro-Technique Products headed in the right direction.

I founded distinctive Aro-Technique Product Ranges, the Women’s Range and the Men’s Range, where these two products belong. Other Ranges which come to mind are the Ranges like Baby Bottoms, an exceptional Baby Range, Care Range, Sports Range, Bathroom Range, Gift Range and even a Pharmacy Range.

In my quest to discover what made Naturopathy, Herbology, Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Acupuncture Whole Medical Systems, I discovered that these Therapies had one thing in common—they all made use of herbs.

I realized that if I added herbs to Aro-healing Revised Complimentary Therapy (ARC) I could allow ARC to undergo a metamorphosis and develop into a Whole Medical System. For this reason, I needed my own “Materia Medica” or “laid down Philosophy” in each founded Therapy. If you come across scientifically explained principles, this is one of the reasons for the inclusion of a “duct” in each Book.

How to read this book does not implicate that the average reader is incompetent, but as this book (a series of three) is non-fiction, it can confuse some readers as to what is actually meant by the author and what she tried to bring across to her readers.

The theme Touching Lives was divided into three Volumes. Each Volume has a theme that consists of four to five parts; each part continues with its own sub-theme; each part is divided into a few chapters; each chapter has its own theme and sub-theme.

I spoke with the author: This is what she plans to do: In every Volume you will find a ‘duct’ chapter which has to be read in the following Volumes in the series – excerpts will be included from duct 4 (Volume 1) into Volume 2, and from duct 4 (Volume 2) into Volume 3. She says if it doesn’t make sense, please wait for Volume 2.

Do not expect to take this book and read it as a story. It can be used in various practices as a study guide and covers many subject fields.

I forgot to mention that you need not read the book from chapter one to ten. You can read any part that interests you the most, first, as long as you read all the relevant chapters in that specific part i.e. chapter 3, 4, 5. You can even swop the chapters around 4, 5, 3. The same principle applies to the parts – 1, 2, 3, 4 or 4, 3, 1,

2. The author advises so, but says the best is to start from the front; if you have trouble with a concept, skip it, and continue. You can always refer back at a later time as the book grows on you - take your time; read one chapter per week.

Most of the experiences that the author refers to are her own. Some are in conjunction with other people, and others are from sources or experts in that particular field. Read the tables from left to right, some tables run over to the next page.

Some readers will question the main theme “Touching Lives” and ask what the relevancy is to “Theories, Techniques and Therapies”. As I said – a theme and a sub-theme –you cannot pull them apart; they are not distant from each other.

What does it have to do with this book? It is the aim of this book to Touch Lives. We all live together in this world; we all live and understand each other by giving positive upliftment and educational training rather than wasting the talents we received.

We do not have the same amount of talents.  Be like Louis Braille! He used his circumstances as a positive reason to be thankful for what he received; he used his circumstances positively. You can do the same. Find the facts in this book.

The theme sub-theme setup and especially the contents of this book could be the first of its kind in South Africa. It will and can make a difference in the lives of many people that are of the opinion that a setback is reason enough to stop living. Readers, a valuable and upliftment guide is given to the value of this book to make your life worth living.

If you believe you can, and believe you will make your life better, this is where to start; touch your life by touching others. Find the recipe in this book – I challenge you to look for it!

Warranted and positive criticism is welcomed as well as suggestions how to improve Book 1. E-mail suggestions to banatto1054@gmail.com for the attention of Lyn.
