Gerapatch Antifungal After-shave Cream is used to treat a variety of skin conditions, but is specific in the treatment of elderly, dry skin.

Once an After-shave has been approved for marketing for a certain use, experience has  shown that it is also useful for other skin problems and medical conditions. Although these uses are not included in product labeling, Gerapatch After-shave Cream is used in certain patients with the following medical conditions:

• Decubital ulcer (bed sores)
• Stasis ulcer (a certain type of ulcer)

Geriatric Care:

Gerapatch After-shave Cream has been tested on animals with no side effects or problems. It has been established to cause no allergic reaction with other prescription or nonprescription (over-the-counter [OTC]) remedies. Using alcohol or tobacco also causes no interactions to occur.

It is safe to use in the presence of medical problems especially:

• Dermatitis
• Eczema or
• Irritated skin
• Red or raw skin, including sunburned skin.
